    Your name is never sent to our servers. All conversion and fortune calculation happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. We do use Google AdSense (which sets cookies for ad personalization) and Cloudflare Web Analytics (which is cookieless and does not collect personal data).

2. What we do not collect

The name you enter into the converter is processed entirely within your browser. We do not log it, transmit it to our servers, or share it with any third party. There is no account system, no sign-in, and no server-side name storage.

3. What we collect automatically

Access logs (IP address, browser, referring URL, timestamp) — standard server logs retained for fraud and abuse prevention.
Google AdSense data — ad impressions, clicks, and cookie-based personalization data, processed by Google LLC in the United States.
Cloudflare Web Analytics — aggregate, cookieless page-view data with no personal identifiers.

4. Cookies

This site uses the following cookies:

Google AdSense (IDE, test_cookie, etc.) — used to serve and measure ads. Managed by Google LLC.
Consent cookie (kanji-cookie) — stores your cookie banner choice in localStorage.

You can disable cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will not affect the core kanji conversion feature, but ads may become less relevant.

5. Third-party data transfers

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties except where required by law. Data flowing to Google LLC (US) via AdSense is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Cloudflare Web Analytics processes only anonymous, aggregated server-side data.

This site is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
